1.Visit the official DV lottery website

To begin the process of checking your EDV confirmation status, open your web browser and navigate to the official website of the DV Lottery program. The web address for the DV Lottery website is https://dvprogram.state.gov.

2.Acess the Entrant status check

Once you have reached the DV lottery website, click for the "Check Status" or "Entrant Status Check" button.

3.Enter your confirmation number

After clicking Entrant Status Check,or Click here, you will be prompted to enter your confirmation number and last name ,year of birth. This unique confirmation number was generated when you successfully completed and submitted your DV Lottery application. The confirmation number is important for verifying your application status, so make sure that you enter the confirmation number accurately.

4.Verify and complete security captcha

Once you have entered your confirmation number and passed the captcha verification process, locate the "Submit" or "Check Status" button on the page. Click on the button to initiate the process of checking your EDV confirmation status.

5.Review Your Confirmation Status

After clicking "Submit" or "Check Status," the DV Lottery system will process your request and result will be displayed on the screen. and you will receive one of the following status messages: selected , not selected , invalid confirmation number.
